Minimum Nights Exceptions

We’ve recently enabled a new setting for a minimum nights exception.

What does this mean for owners?

The minimum nights exception allows renters to submit requests for bookings shorter than your minimum nights rule if they request their booking with sufficient notice, which you specify. This is a great way to book your nights that would otherwise be expiring soon. You will still need to manually approve these requests — even if you have INSTAbook enabled on your listing.

The default setting on all listings has been set to “within 30 days” for the exception. If you'd like, you can change this by editing your listing at any time.

Edit your minimum nights exception by following these simple steps:

  1. From the Outdoorsy dashboard page, select the “Edit listing” button.
  2. On the Vehicle details page, select “Pricing”.
  3. From here, you can customize your minimum nights exception. The default setting is “within 30 days”, but you can also choose “do not allow”.
