I have to make my first cancellation and wondering what others tell their renters when they cancel?
my husband and I are having a baby the week of a rental I have next month. I have a backup delivery person who was going to deliver for us but he can no longer do this specific rental. It is a month in advance, however, I feel very bad for having to cancel on this renter. What do you typically tell your renter when you have to cancel?

This option triggers a full refund to the renter and has no financial or algorithmic penalties for the owner. After that they can try to connect with a different owner for their trip and even contact Outdoorsy support for help in doing so.
