The renter has additional charges because of overages and cleaning. How do I handle these?

Security deposits come in handy sometimes, right? Make sure you clearly communicate any overages to the renter and have them sign-off on the RV Return Form to acknowledge these charges.

Log-in to your Outdoorsy dashboard, go to the reservation details and select “Manage Security Deposit”. Here, you’ll determine what portion of the deposit to return to the renter. For example, if you have a $1,000 security deposit and need to claim an additional $640 in charges and overages, you’ll input $360 to return to your renter.
