All verified rentals that take place on the Outdoorsy platform are automatically covered by our $1M insurance program, as long as the following criteria are met:
- Motorized RVs must be model year 2000 or newer. Travel trailers and towables have no year restrictions.
- If the rental includes a tow vehicle, the tow vehicle must be model year 2000 or newer and have no more than 150,000 miles.
- Within 90 days of any rental, each vehicle is required to pass an inspection of:
- Tires
- Brakes
- LP Gas
- Appliances
- Electrical system
- All vehicles must be registered and in safe condition.
- All vehicles must be certified through Outdoorsy.
- To do this, owners must complete the form located under the Insurance tab while editing their listing.
- All renters must complete and pass a DMV record check before renting.
