If your renter gets into an accident or reports damage to your RV, ask the renter to take photos of the damage and get a police report if applicable. Take notes about what led to the damage, answering "who, what, where, when, and how". If you discover damage upon return of your vehicle, follow the same process. (Please note that interiors are not covered by Outdoorsy insurance, therefore damages to the interior of your vehicle must be covered through the security deposit.)
Email Outdoorsy (firstname.lastname@example.org) within 48 hours of learning about the damages so that our claims department can begin processing your claim. Make sure to upload photos of the damage to your vehicle as well as request an official Outdoorsy Claim Form.
If the damages cost less than the deductible, the cost would be deducted from the security deposit. If it exceeds the deductible, please follow the claims process outlined above.
