Are renters checked for driving history?

We understand that safety is a key concern for anyone willing to rent their vehicle out. Every renter must submit their license for a thorough DMV check on our system in order to be "Approved for Insurance." Anything out of the ordinary is manually inspected by our support team. We review anything from expired / suspended licenses all the way to more serious flags such as multiple traffic violations (or worse).

This is more of a process question.
I see that outdoorsy CHECKS for violations and suspended licenses, but do they notify us (owners) about previous suspended licenses or violations so we can decide if we want to take the risk?
I am assuming that we will get some sort of report if the renters record.... Is that correct?
